• Lee Sang Bo grew up in Seoul, South Korea.

• He used the stage name ‘Lee Bo-hyeon’ from 2006 to 2016.

• He appeared as ‘Oh Eun-taek’ in Korean Broadcasting System’s drama ‘Bad Love’ (2007-2008).

• He played the role of ‘Moon Jeong-gyoo’ in the mini series ‘Special Task Force MSS’ (2011), which aired on KBS2.

• In 2013, Lee appeared as an NIS agent in an action comedy-drama film titled ‘Secretly, Greatly.’

• Lee appeared in many other television series, such as an uncle in MBC TV’s ‘Man Who Dies to Live’ (2017), Yang Moon-bok in OCN’s ‘Rugal’ (2020), Oh Ha-joon in KBS2’s ‘Miss Monte-Cristo’ (2021), and Na Seung-pil in KBS2’s ‘The Elegant Empire’ (2023-2024).

• Lee experienced a series of personal losses, beginning with his sister’s demise in a 1998 traffic accident, followed by his father’s death in 2010 and mother’s in 2019. This led to years of depression and a break from acting.

• He was so affected by severe depression and panic disorder that he relied on prescribed antidepressants and tranquilizers.

• In September 2022, Lee faced false drug use allegations after appearing unsteady in public. It was, however, later confirmed that this was caused by his prescribed medication combined with alcohol, and he was cleared of all charges the same year.

• In 2025, he signed a contract with Korea Management Group to restart his career.

• On 27 March 2026, Lee Sang Bo was found dead at his home in Pyeongtaek, South Korea. Authorities confirmed no foul play.

• His funeral was held at Jungang Funeral Home in Pyeongtaek on 29 March 2026.
