Some Lesser Known Facts About Aman Kumar Sharma

• Aman Kumar Sharma was born and raised in Hasan Khan Mewat Nagar, Alwar, Rajasthan.

• Aman’ s father Prem Kumar Sharma is also respected advocate of Alwar.

• In 2018, Aman completed his BA LLB degree from Symbiosis Law School, Pune.

• In 2021, he cracked the judicial service exam and became judge at the age of 25 in his first attempt.

• During the judge’s training, Kumar met his future wife, Swati from Sonipat, Haryana. Both fell in love with each other.

• In an interview, Aman’s father revealed that, he wanted Aman to get married to his (Aman’s father) closed friend’s daughter. He said,

When Aman Kumar was selected for judicial service, I received a marriage proposal for my son from Jaipur. A judge’s daughter had also become a judge. Her father had come with the proposal for Aman. At that time, I had discussed the proposal with Aman, but Aman had said that he would marry according to his own wish.”

• However, no one in Aman’s family raised question about his marriage choice and he got married to Swati in 2021.

• On 9 June 2021, Sharma joined Delhi Judicial Services as a Judicial Magistrate first class (JMFC) and civil judge.

• During his tenure ad JMFC, man handled a range of criminal and civil matters and served in different jurisdictions of Delhi.

• Since 18 October 2025, he had been serving as the full time Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in the North-East district in Karkardooma Courts.

• On 2 May 2026, Aman Kumar Sharma died by suicide at his flat in Green Park area, Safdarjung, New Delhi, bought by his father for Aman in 2024. Reportedly he was under stress due to ongoing conflicts with his wife, Swati. According to his family, his wife’s sister, Nidhi Malik, who is IAS officer posted in Jammu had a full control in the house, everything happened as per her.

• According to his father, on 30th April 2026, Aman called him and said,

Papa, this is my last call. I can’t live like this anymore.”

• Worried about Aman’s condition, his father reached Delhi 30 April 2026 around midnight. When his father arrived, Aman’s wife also argued with his father and insulted him and threatened to call the police.

• According to his family, Aman Sharma was facing issues with his wife for the past two months.

• On 2 May 2026, another loud argument happened between Aman and his wife. Sharma was in one room while his wife was in another. His father said,

She was speaking loudly and Aman was crying.”

• After the heated argument, when his father could not find Aman at his home, he made a call to Aman and it rang from inside the bathroom. The door of the bathroom was locked from inside, it was open through a window by breaking the glass, where they found Aman’s body hanging with ceiling fan with a piece of cloth.

• Aroung 1: 30 pm at night, Aman was rushed to Safdargunj Hospital, where doctor decared him brought dead.

• Aman left a suicide note in which he said no one is responsible for his death.

• After the post mortem, Sharma’s body was brought to Alwar for his last rites. Aman’s wife has left his with his two children and no one from her family attended Aman’s last rites.

• Aman Kumar Sharma’s family lodged a complaint against Aman’s wife and her family and demanded a fair and impartial investigation.

• Sharma’s younger brother has also been dealing with depression after a road accident. He had been pursuing an LLB.
