Disturbing reports have recently surfaced concerning the well-known YouTuber and streamer recognized as “YourFellowArab,” or Arab.

According to sources, the American journalist Adisson Pierre Maalouf, also known as Arab, was kidnapped by the 400 Mawozo gang in Haiti on March 14, near Croix-des-Bouqets. Arab, aged 26, has amassed a significant following on his YouTube channel, boasting over 1.41 million subscribers.

Twitch streamer Lalem, renowned for his Fortnite gameplay, also provided an update on his X.com account, confirming the kidnapping incident and suggesting that Arab his brother had been abducted a couple of weeks prior. As of now, neither the Haitian police nor the USA government has made official comments regarding Arab’s kidnapping. Nonetheless, this incident contributes to the series of kidnappings that have plagued Haiti in recent months.

Who is YourFellowArab?

Arab who was born on 30 April, 1997 in Lebanon is aged 26 and is a Muslim by religion. He currently lives in Saint Petersburg, Florida and has a brother named Eddie Maalouf who is an entrepreneur. Arab’s net worth is between $1-5 million.

Arab rose to fame for his bold challenge videos, exemplified by titles such as “A Day Spent with Rio Brazil’s Most Dangerous Gang” and “Living among the Mexican Cartel.” Additionally, he orchestrated a viral kidnapping prank involving Darren “IShowSpeed” during their recent visit to Brazilian favelas. Arab’s reputation for fearlessness in undertaking risky endeavors led him to Haiti, currently grappling with a state of emergency due to widespread criminal activity.

However, Arab’s expedition took a tragic turn when reports emerged of his sudden abduction by a local gang. Allegedly, he visited Delmas 6, a neighborhood in Port-au-Prince, to conduct an interview with Jimmy Cerisier, also known as “Barbecue,” a member of a local gang. Instead, Arab and his Haitian colleague, Sacra Sean, were seized by another gang member who demanded a ransom of $600,000, $40,000 of which has already been paid.

On March 29, a brief video emerged featuring YourFellowArab addressing his audience about his plans to travel to Port-au-Prince. Arab confirmed the situation in a video reportedly sent to his editor before the kidnapping. He acknowledged that he had been kidnapped in Haiti and assured that efforts were underway to secure his release. He expressed affection for everyone and reassured that he would be out soon.
