Suspected terrorist involved in shooting at Moscow concert arrested; There were already nine other detainees

The Basmanni Court of Moscow sent a ninth person allegedly linked to the March 22 attack on a concert hall on the outskirts of that city to preventive detention for two months, which left at least 144 dead.

This is a 24-year-old Tajik citizen, identified as Nazimad Lutfuloi, according to the Interfax agency.

The court hearing was held behind closed doors like the other hearings related to the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall, 20 kilometers from the center of Moscow.

The Russian Investigative Committee had reported this Thursday the arrest of another person possibly involved in last Friday’s attack and stated that the suspect “participated in the financing of terrorists.”

According to Russian investigators, the perpetrators of the terrorist attack received “significant amounts of money and cryptocurrencies from Ukraine.”

THERE WERE ALREADY NINE DETAINED

Tajikistan’s security forces have detained nine people allegedly linked to the suspects in the armed attack.

According to Asia Plus, the arrests were made in the city of Vajdat, 10 kilometers east of the capital Dushanbe.
