Hansal Mehta has revealed the third instalment of his super popular series Scam, dubbed Scam 2010 – The Subrata Roy Saga but the cast and release date of season 3 isn’t known yet
After two seasons of ‘Scam’, well-known director Hansal Mehta has announced its third instalment. The third part will be focussing on Subrata Roy and it will be released as ‘Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga’.

Hansal Mehta has yet to confirm the cast of the series.
Scam 2010 – The Subrata Roy Saga will revolved around the life of businessman Subrata Roy. It is based on Tamal Bandyopadhyay’s book Sahara: The Untold Story. The Sony LIV series will be produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with Studio Next and directed by Hansal Mehta. Its cast and release date is yet to be revealed.
Roy’s journey from dust to diamonds is detailed in Scam 2010. Roy got caught up in a maelstrom of charges in the early 2000s, ranging from chit-fund manipulation to fraudulent investors, which eventually led to his incarceration in 2014. With over Rs 25,000 crore still lying unclaimed with government authorities, the effects of the scam continue to reverberate even today.

With ‘Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga’, they are poised to raise the bar even higher by offering audiences an immersive journey into the life and times of one of the most ambitious minds in Indian business history.

The series has consistently been the most viewed franchise on Sony LIV, and the channel is confident that the third edition will set newer benchmarks in compelling storytelling.
Scam part 1
Hansal Mehta directed Scam 1992 – The Harshad Mehta Story, an Indian Hindi-language biographical financial thriller that is currently streaming on SonyLIV.
Jai Mehta co-directed the series. The series is based on journalist Sucheta Dalal and Debashish Basu’s 1992 book The swindle: Who Won, Who Lost, Who Got Away, which details the 1992 Indian stock market swindle perpetrated by many stockbrokers, notably Harshad Mehta.
The storyline and dialogue were written by Sumit Purohit, Saurabh Dey, Vaibhav Vishal, and Karan Vyas.
