Rooprashmi Sharma (aka Shweta Dadhich) is an Indian actress who is well known for appearing in Hindi television serials and short films. She gained popularity for playing the role of Mausi in SET’s historical drama serial Prithvi Vallabh. The serial is directed by Maqbool Khan and Animesh Verma. Rooprashmi has been also worked in some episodic shows including Crime Petrol.

Rooprashmi began her acting career by first featuring in Zee TV’s comedy show Chi and Me along with Pallavi Gupta and Akshay Anand.

After making debut, she also featured in some more shows like UTV Bindas’s Meri Toh lag gayi……Naukri and Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev Mahadev.

Rooprashmi portrayed the role of Chandra in Hindi soap opera Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, aired on Zee TV in 2008-09. In 2009, Rooprashmi appeared in soap opera Na Aana Is Des Laado as Sunita. The serial has broadcasted on Colors TV and produced by Shyamashis Bhattacharya.

In 2013, Rooprashmi made her film industry debut with Akshay Kumar’s thriller film Special 26 as supporting actress.

Rooprashmi got popularity for playing the role of Mausi in historical drama soap opera Prithvi Vallabh. The serial was telecasted on Sony Entertainment Television (SET) and produced by Aniruddh Pathak.

Later, Rooprashmi appeared in romantic drama film The Wife where she played the lead role of Dr. Raima Das alongside Gurmeet Choudhary and Sayani Datta. The film was directed by Sarmad Khan in the year of 2021.

In 2020-21, Rooprashmi got opportunity to feature as Sandhya Nanda in Abhishek Nigam starrer Hero- Gayab Mode On.

Rooprashmi is also known for recurring role of Amrita Rajput in Colors TV supernatural drama serial Pishachini.
