On 5 April 2026, Congress spokesperson, Pawan Khera made the allegations that, Riniki Bhutan Sharma held multiple foreign passports of countries, including United Arab Emirates, Antigua and Barbuda, and Egypt. He added that she held 2 separate properties in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
However Riniki and her husband, Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma denied all the allegations stating that they will initiate the criminal and civil defamation proceedings against Pawan Khera. |
