It was told in the medical bulletin that at around 8:25 pm on Thursday evening, Mukhtar Ansari was brought to Rani Durgavati Medical College by the jail personnel complaining of vomiting and in an unconscious state. The patient was provided immediate medical care by a team of 9 doctors, but Mukhtar Ansari could not be saved. It is being told that on receiving information about Mukhtar Ansari’s health deteriorating again in the jail on Thursday evening, District Officer Durga Shakti Nagpal, Superintendent of Police Ankur Aggarwal along with police from several police stations reached Mandal Jail. All the officers remained inside the jail for about 40 minutes. No one got any information about what was happening inside.
