jpnn.comSEMARANG – Acting (Pj) Governor of Central Java Nana Sudjana said that the commemoration of Nuzulul Qur’an 1445 H with Central Java Berselawat was a collective momentum to pray that the disaster in Central Java would soon pass.

“Several areas in Central Java, some time ago were hit by floods due to extreme weather. “With selawat, we make efforts and pray so that the disaster will pass quickly,” said Nana Sudjana at the Central Java Berselawat event in the courtyard of the Central Java Governor’s Office, Thursday (28/4/2024) evening.

This time the Nuzulul Qur’an commemoration was packaged with Central Java Berselawat activities and began with tarawih prayers with Forkopimda.

Habib Ali Zainal Abidin Assegaf was appointed to lead the prayer service with thousands of people who attended from various regions. Meanwhile, Habib Muhammad bin Farid bin Al Muthohar got time to give sermons.

Also present at the event were Central Java Regional Secretary Sumarno, all heads of Central Java Provincial Government OPD, Central Java BAZNAS Chair Ahmad Daroji, Head of Central Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, representatives of Forkopimda and other related agencies, as well as ulama.

“We also pray that all matters will always be blessed and that all matters will be made easier so that we can provide the best service to the community,” said Nana.

The Central Java Berselawat activity has been going on for approximately 11 years. Implementation is carried out alternately in various districts/cities in Central Java.

This activity also accompanies every religious holiday and national holiday.
