It is agreed that the parties will contact their Governments with a view to taking measures for the simultaneous and parallel deployment of their border services on the agreed sections of the border line.

As Day.Az reports with reference to AZERTAC, this was stated following the results of the eighth meeting of the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia and the Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border and Border Security between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, held on April 19, 2024 year on the border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.

“Also, the parties simultaneously agreed to complete work on agreeing on the draft Regulations on the joint activities of the State Commission for the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia and the Commission for the Delimitation of the State Border and Border Security between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan by July 1, 2024 and begin the process of internal coordination and approval of the Regulations in the manner and in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the states of the Parties,” the statement notes.
