There were reports indicating that Netflix had acquired the rights to Nani’s pan-India film. Recent revelations suggest that the movie, Dasara is available for streaming on the OTT platform starting from Apr 27th.

| SYNPOSIS | Set in the backdrop of the Singareni coal mines near Godavarikhani of Telangana. |
| STORY | Veerlapally is a small village surrounded by coal mines where alcohol is an essential part of men’s daily routine. Dharni, who has been in love with Vennela since childhood and spends most of his time with his best friend Suri, discovers that Vennela loves Suri instead. In a selfless act, Dharni sacrifices his love and lets Suri and Vennela be together. Years later, Dharni and Suri make a living by stealing coal. When Vennela’s mother objects to her relationship with Suri, Dharni promises to get Suri a job as a cashier at the popular Silk bar in the village after winning a cricket match, and he keeps his promise. However, this doesn’t sit well with Nambi, the son of the village Sarpanch, Shivanna, who had his own men in mind for the job. A brawl ensues at the bar between Nambi’s men, Suri, and Dharni, leading to their torture in jail. Rajanna, Shivanna’s step-brother, bails them out, and everyone urges him to contest the upcoming elections. However, he chooses Suri instead, and they emerge victorious over Nambi. Dharni soon arranges for Suri and Vennela’s wedding, but on their wedding night, Suri discovers Dharni’s sacrifice and goes to meet him. Unfortunately, they are attacked by unknown men along with their friends, and Suri dies while trying to save Dharni, leaving him devastated and Vennela as a widow on her wedding day. |
