• Shruthi Krishna is an Indian actress, television personality and politician, known for her work predominantly in the South film industry.

• She was born and raised into a Kannada theatre artists’ family in Bangalore, Karnataka.

• Her father, G. V. Krishna run a theatre company. He was married to twin sisters, Radha and Rukmini who were also theatre artists.

• Since Shruthi has two mothers, so people and the media have been curious for many years about who her biological mother is. However, both Sharan and Shruthi have said that they consider both to be their biological mothers. In an interview, she shared that,

For us, we didn’t feel it was necessary. If we wanted to, it’s a simple matter of finding the answer with one question. But we are not separate; we believe everyone is one.
