Who is Vinicius Souza?
Vinicius de Souza Costa is a Brazilian professional football player who was born on June 17, 1999 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The 24-year-old stands 1.87 m (6 ft 2 in) tall. He plays defensive midfield for Sheffield United in the Premier League.
He and Arabella Chi were recently spotted together on a date despite their nine year age difference sparking rumors of them being a couple. However, the two are yet to offcially confirm anything.

Vinicius joined Flamengo in 2014 to participate in the under-15 team, which was authorised by coach Ze Ricardo. He played with Lincoln and Matheus Thuler, who would later be colleagues on the professional squad, on the young team.
Vinícius made his professional team debut on March 9, 2019, during the closing moments of a 1-1 tie between Campeonato Carioca and Vasco da Gama at Maracana Stadium. On October 10, 2019, at Maracana Stadium, Vinícius made his debut in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A match against Atletico Mineiro by substituting Reinier during injury time.
Vinicius was signed by Lommel from Flamengo on August 25, 2020, for a sum of €2.5 million. He then played for Mechelen and Espanyol on loan in 2021 and 2022 respectively. He signed a four-year contract with Sheffield United on August 9, 2023.

Vinicius Souza’s current transfer value is between €6.2M and €10.4M. For Vini Souza, Sheff United paid Lommel United €12.5 million.
Vinicius Souza’s contract with Sheffield United expires on June 30, 2027, with four years and £6,240,000 in gross salary remaining. For the 2023–2024 season, he will receive a gross base pay of £1,560,000, or £30,000 per week, excluding bonuses, as per Capology.
