Rory McIlroy is divorcing his wife Erica Stoll after seven years of marriage.
According to court documents, the 35-year-old professional golfer Rory McIlroy filed for divorce from Erica Stoll who is 36-year-old. McIlroy petitioned to finish the marriage on May 13.
Rory McIlroy married Erica Stoll on April 22, 2017, in a magnificent ceremony at Ashford Castle in County Mayo, Ireland. The wedding had tight security and featured several A-list celebrity guests, including Stevie Wonder and actor Jamie Dornan.

Stoll has been a supportive figure for McIlroy at his tournaments during their relationship, caddying for him at the 2023 Masters Par 3 contest and cheering him on at the Ryder Cup in Italy.
Stoll, a former PGA of America employee, met McIlroy in 2012 during the Ryder Cup, where she worked as a transportation official. Stoll arranged for McIlroy to be escorted to the course in Medinah, Illinois when he overslept due to a time zone mixup and nearly missed his tee time.
However, the couple did not become romantically linked until in 2014. McIlroy was dating tennis player Caroline Wozniacki when he first met Stoll. McIlroy and Wozniacki were engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2013, but he called it off a few months later.
The went on their honeymoon to Canouan Island, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Rory frequently praised Erica with making him a better person both off and on the golf course.
