Mayank, a Delhi representative in domestic cricket, boasts a record of 10 T20s and 17 List A matches, clinching a total of 46 wickets. In the 2023 Deodhar Trophy, he emerged as the joint-second highest wicket-taker with 12 dismissals in five innings while playing for North Zone. Lucknow signed him for IPL 2022 at his base price of Rs. 20 Lakh. However, he was replaced by Arpit Guleria in the subsequent season due to injury.

LSG scored 199 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs against the visiting team, with Quinton de Kock leading the scoring with 54 runs, including five boundaries and two maximums. Pooran and Krunal Pandya also contributed with 42 and 43 runs respectively. Sam Curran took three wickets, conceding 28 runs in his four overs. Arshdeep Singh claimed two wickets, while Kagiso Rabada and Rahul Chahal took one each, preventing LSG from taking control of the game.

Umran Malik achieved a speed of 157 kmph, while Anrich Nortje reached 156.2 kmph. Mayank ranks fifth on the list with a delivery speed of 155.8 kmph.
