• TA Anish was born in a middle-class family in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu, India.

• He completed a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and later completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• He later started working as a social media promoter in the film and entertainment industry. He promoted more than 70 movies and over 500 album songs, short films, and cover songs.

• He managed more than 200 celebrity and personal social media accounts for over six years. He entered event management and show direction through his company, Anish Creations.

• A financial dispute later developed between Anish and Lakshmi Narayan regarding the film investment. In 2024, Anish stayed in Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu, for business purposes.

• During that period, he became acquainted with a person named Ashirvad, also known as Ash. Within a few days, Ashirvad borrowed Rs 2,50,000 from Anish as a loan.

• After about five months, Anish requested repayment due to financial need. Ashirvad allegedly refused to repay the money and avoided returning the amount.

• Anish filed an online complaint with the Tamil Nadu Police regarding the unpaid loan.

• Around December 2025, Anish moved from Bengaluru to Mumbai for professional work. He informed actress Aishwarya from Indiranagar, Bengaluru, about selling his Honda CR-V car bearing registration DLACAB7408.

• Aishwarya informed her friend Shahid, who expressed interest in purchasing the vehicle. On 8 February 2026, Anish travelled from Mumbai towards Bengaluru in his car.

• On 9 February 2026, he reached Bengaluru and met Aishwarya, Shahid, and another associate near Indiranagar.

• Shahid stated that the car needed inspection at a garage before completing payment. Aishwarya and Shahid left the location, and Anish followed another associate for inspection.

• He was taken to a building and brought to a house located on the second floor. After he entered the house, the door was locked from the inside.

• Ashirvad and others arrived holding cricket stumps and hockey sticks. They assaulted Anish inside the house and demanded the withdrawal of earlier police complaints.

• When he did not agree, five to six people jointly assaulted him, causing injuries. Ashirvad removed a 22-gram gold chain, one gold bracelet, three gold rings, and Rs 30,000 cash from him.

• They also accessed his mobile phone and demanded the deletion of complaint-related data. He was later taken in a car towards Mandaragiri Hill near the Tumakuru district.

• Lakshmi Narayan was allegedly connected through a video call during part of the assault. Near a toll gate, the vehicle was diverted towards an isolated location.

• Two more persons arrived in separate vehicles and continued the assault. The accused demanded Rs 5 lakh from him and pressured him for payment.

• He was later taken to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital and admitted for treatment. Using his ATM card, Rs 5,500 was withdrawn from his account.

• On 11 February 2026, he filed the FIR number 51 at Adugodi Police Station in Bengaluru.

• Police registered a case of kidnapping, wrongful confinement, assault, robbery, and extortion under Sections 54, 118(2), 119(1), 127(2), 140(1), 351(2), 352, and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.

• Eleven people, including actress and social media influencer Aishwarya, were arrested in connection with the case.

• Police recovered six mobile phones, gold ornaments, a car, and cash during the investigation. The accused were produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody.
