After clearing the examination, Nisa Unnirajan shared in a media conversation that she pursued IAS studies seriously after the age of 35. She said,

I always had the ambition somewhere within me, but I only gave myself permission to pursue it seriously after I turned 35.”

She added that the repeated failures taught her something valuable so that she could refine her approach. She said,

I failed repeatedly, but I never saw those attempts as wasted. Each one taught me something valuable. I kept refining my approach.”
