Lee Cheong-ah confessed that she became an actress despite her father’s opposition.

On the 2nd, a video titled ‘Because I hate things that aren’t funny, EP.34 Lee Bo-young, Lee Moo-saeng, and Lee Cheong-ah’ was uploaded to ‘Salon Drip 2’ on the YouTube channel ‘TEO Teo’. The main actors of JTBC’s Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Hyde’, Lee Bo-young, Lee Moo-saeng, and Lee Cheong-ah, appeared as guests.

In the video, MC Jang Do-yeon asked Lee Bo-young, Lee Moo-saeng, and Lee Cheong-ah, “Did you decide on acting as your career path from the beginning?” Lee Moo-saeng said, “Ever since I was young, I vaguely thought it would be nice to appear on TV. “Don’t we all think about that at least once?” he answered.

He continued, “After graduating from high school, I enrolled in an acting academy and took the entrance exam class. Within two months, she entered the university’s Department of Film Arts. “When I think about it, I was lucky, and if I had failed then, I wonder, ‘Would I have tried acting again?’” he added. Lee Moo-saeng said, “I have always liked exercise, so I think I would have been an athlete if not an actor,” and revealed that he is a 2nd degree Hapkido and 2nd degree Taekwondo master. Lee Moo-saeng also showed off some cool kicks.

Lee Cheong-ah said, “My father (Lee Seung-cheol) was a theater actor. Doesn’t it seem easy for parents to do it? “My father memorizes the script and performs at home, and he thought he could do it that way, but it was a big mistake,” he confessed.

Jang Do-yeon asked, “Wasn’t your father against it?” Then Lee Cheong-ah said, “My father was most against it. Her mom told her to give it a try, so she went to her agency and signed it. She said her mother seemed to have a bit of a ‘you have to go so you know it’s not you’ mentality. “It was in her late 20s that she decided she wanted to be an actress and started going,” she recalled. She continued, “When I auditioned as a rookie, I got accepted. Then, suddenly, she was given a lead role in a drama, something she had never done before, as the movie ‘Temptation of Wolves’ (2004) did well. As a result, I didn’t have enough time to make up for my shortcomings. On the contrary, I took some rest. “It took 8 to 9 years,” he confessed.

In particular, Lee Cheong-ah said, “I heard so many times that I couldn’t (act). So once she heard that she was good, she thought she should quit, so she worked hard. “Once she heard that she was good, she would have quit, but she seemed to have fun working hard,” she said. Lee Bo-young said, “You need a moment to hurt your pride. “I feel like my pride is hurt and something scratches me, and I need the power to make me shed a tear and grit my teeth,” she said.
