Certain aspects of Shcheblykin’s activities dedicated to the historical monuments of Azerbaijan were examined in detail.

Ivan was also an excellent artist, often illustrating his works. In his painting, he paid special attention to the architectural school of Adjemi Nakhichevan. Ordubad’s paintings from the early 30s of the 20th century also aroused great interest.
