Al-Dabaiba follows up on the final accounts of the Libyan Investment Authority

Yesterday, Monday, the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, reviewed the final accounts and consolidated lists of the Libyan Investment Authority and its subsidiaries.

The head of the Foundation, Ali Mahmoud, presented a position to the Prime Minister regarding the final accounts and consolidated lists of the Foundation and its subsidiaries, after the audit of the external auditor, which is the international company (EY).

Mahmoud also gave the Prime Minister an overview of the legal measures taken by the institution regarding the cases brought against it in a number of countries, in cooperation with the Cases Department and the Attorney General’s Office.

Al-Dabaiba stressed the necessity of completing the audit work, closing the institution’s final account until the end of the year 2023, and highlighting this data and displaying it to all Libyans as it is the state’s sovereign fund.

During the meeting, Al-Dabaiba also stressed the need to give priority to following up on the cases brought before the institution, in cooperation with the relevant state institutions.

In another context, Al-Dabaiba participated with the people of the Nawfalayeen area in Tripoli in their collective iftar, and honored the veteran football athletes in the region participating in the Nawfalayin Ramadan League in its fourth edition.
